The Tasmanian Government has launched a rebate to support the uptake in EVs. Under the rebate individuals who purchase an eligible vehicle will be provided a $2,000 rebate. Program will close once funding is exhausted up to the amount of $750,000.

The government has committed multiple rounds of funding to support fast charging and destination charging stations throughout the state. $600,000 was delivered in their first round and $773,000 was allocated in round two.
